Early access penalty was mistakenly added to Apex Legends

Respawn mistakenly included early exit penalty in Apex Legends’ version 1.1 patch:

A version 1.1 patch of Apex Legends was launched recently & accidentally Respawn added a feature that will be included in the battle royale mode of Apex Legends in the future.

Those who played Apex Legends after Respawn uploaded version 1.1 patch got penalized for leaving their matches early.

The penalty should be added to Apex Legends because if players leave early & their teammates revive them then they had already quit & cannot join the match again. Also some players will play another match after they are eliminated instead of waiting for their teammates to revive them.

However, Respawn was not looking to add this penalty now. They said that they were testing this feature internally, but a missing piece of script accidently activated this feature. They quickly deactivated this feature after noticing this problem.

This was not the only problem with the patch. Some players lost all of their progress, & they started playing from level 1 & all of their cosmetic items were also deleted. Respawn quickly disabled this penalty & now this update is running smoothly.

New weapon is available in Apex Legends Season 4: Assimilation:

A new weapon will be available in Apex Legends Season 4: Assimilation.

A new playable character Forge is also available in the Season 4 of Apex Legends. The new season will kick off on 4 February 2020.
