Stay Cool, Kobayashi-san!: A River City Ransom Story Review:
Stay Cool, Kobayashi-san!: A
River City Ransom Story offers multiple endings, based on choices that players
can make during gameplay. Players can build their own hero, they can choose
their gender, & the game ending is based on players’ actions.
Heroes:
During the game narrative, playable
character will be helped by Mizoguchi and Kunio. Players can take one of them
in their adventure, just like in previous games.
Kobayashi:
Kobayashi is the protagonist of
this game. He is a senior of Reiho Academy. He is on an adventure to beat the evil
organization. He will be helped by other characters during this journey.
Mizoguchi:
Mizoguchi is a smart boy who came
from the future in chase of this mysterious organization. He can help protagonist
by offering him multiple equipment.
Kunio:
Kunio is a senior at high school.
Kunio is expert in fist fighting.

Kobayashi meets a strange guy named
Mizoguchi, who came from future in chase of a mysterious organization that has disturbed
the time space balance.
Mizoguchi befriends Kobayashi
because he comes to know that Kobayashi has some power & together they can
beat the mysterious organization.
The mysterious organization
kidnaps Kobayashi's pal & now it is his mission to save his friend &
destroy this organization.
Stay Cool, Kobayashi-san!: A River City Ransom Story Gameplay:
In players’ first walkthrough,
they may not succeed in revealing the reality behind the actions of the enemy
organization. Mizoguchi can help players rewind time, players will be stronger
than the previous walkthrough, & they can reveal the truth they may have
missed.
Like earlier games players can
once again chain attacks, they can use punches & kicks to beat enemies.
Special moves can have up to 3 charge levels.
Based on in-game action, players
can watch a different ending. There are 20 endings in total.
Players can gather stars &
use them to level up their characters & acquire new items.
