Langrisser 1 & 2 Review:

Langrisser is a fantasy tactical RPG developed by Masaya Games. In this game you can give orders to your commanders who are very loyal & helpful in adventure. Give them commands to navigate the arena, attack enemies, use abilities & magic, & they are able to do more than that. When they get a certain experience in fight, they get tougher. Then you can assign them into classes, which offer them different skills that are helpful for the team. After unlocking fresh classes, they can receive fight bonuses & extra abilities.

Langrisser 1 Story:

In the distant past there was a war at the land of El Sallia. The matter of dispute was a special blade called Langrisser, believed to grant immense power to its possessor. The royal family of Baldea has shielded the blade for a long time. People have forgotten the memories of the blade because Baldea did its best in protecting it.

Kaiser Digos, the monarch of Dalsis wanted to overtake the world and attack Baldea, to get the overwhelming power of Langrisser. Ledin, the prince of Baldea luckily fled the attack.

Prince Ledin determined to recover Langrisser, embarked on a journey that will test his allegiance to the Light.

Langrisser 2 Story:

Elwin, a young wanderer along with Hein stayed for a night in an Inn at village called Salrath. At midnight, Hein entered the room of Elwin with information that the army of Rayguar kingdom have entered the village and searching for a girl known as Liana. Elwin immediately left the inn for the country to protect the girl.

Langrisser 1 & 2 Gameplay:

Without a nice blade nobody dares to enter arena. It is a wise idea to use gold to buy good blades & armor for commanders from the shop which help them in attack & defense.

The game gives you an opportunity to hire crews but in exchange of gold. They will help commanders in fight. Different commanders can hire different crews so you need to do some study before hiring crews that fit your plan.

Some units have edge over other types of units in fights, & certain terrains are better or worse than others.

The choices made by you in this game can affect the future events. For example, if you wish to spare life of your rival then he may choose to join you.

The game allows you to revert your progress to re-experience old events if you think that a different decision would have suited you in a better way. This game gives you an option to restart after you end it & in the second playthrough you will retain your commanders’ levels, objects & gold that you have collected in your first walkthrough.
