Sword and Shield: New Gigantamax Pokemon are out now

New Gigantamax Pokemon are appearing in Max Raid in Pokemon Sword & Shield:

A new Pokemon named Gigantamax Toxtricity is available in Pokemon: Sword & Shield, & also you will encounter other Gigantamax Pokemon more often for a limited time in the Wild Area which includes a new form of Kingler.

Gamers of Pokemon Sword will more likely face Gigantamax Kingler & Grimmsnarl in Max Raids, while those playing Pokemon Shield will more likely face Gigantamax Hatterene & Orbeetle. You can encounter Gigantamax Toxtricity in both Sword & Shield now but the form of this Pokemon will be different based on its version. In Pokemon Sword, Toxtricity will be available in its Amped Form, while in Pokemon Shield, it will be available in its Low Key Form.

You can capture Toxtricity until 8 March, & we do not know whether you will encounter it outside of the event, so make sure you capture it soon. However, you can find other Pokemon at any time, but the rate at which you encounter them are usually very less which offers a good opportunity to capture them.

Until 16 February, Gigantamax Milcery is available too in Max Raids.
