them stranded on a faraway world. All of those villains have escaped the world,
& are now causing disorder in space & time.
Like earlier 3 games in the
series, Crash Bandicoot 4 falls into platformer category. Once again
protagonist will be spinning & jumping to beat enemies & break crates
that contain valuable things. Fresh mechanics are also added to the gameplay,
including running on wall, swinging rope, grinding rail, & you can wear a
bizarre mask called “Quantum Masks” that holds supernatural powers. There are 4
Quantum Masks & every mask has a different skill, such as you can run on
the ceiling or control time.

Time has a new developer “Toys for Bob”, best known for Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
Toys for Bob are known for developing genuine remasters as they overhauled the
first 3 Spyro games & offered an outstanding Switch port of Crash N. Sane
Trilogy. They are particularly popular for platforming games & it looks
like Crash Bandicoot 4 will be another awesome product.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About
Time is a highly anticipated game & everyone is hoping it to be better than
the first 3 parts. Crash N. Sane Trilogy was released in 2017, & it was a
big marketing achievement & more than 10 million copies of the game were

New stuff available in the sequel
are 4 unique Quantum Masks: the 4 authoritative custodians of space & time,
offering playable character the power to overcome chaos spread by enemies in
exciting new ways.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time vs Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 & 3: Gameplay:
The major cause of success of first
3 installments of Crash Bandicoot series is entertainment. All games of the
series are developed in 3D & its re-imagined & innovative art-style,
novel mechanics, are few of the best features the series offer. We are looking
for more entertainment & new features & so far we know that the story
revolves around the 4 Quantum Masks & it has its own gameplay mechanics
too.

New platforming mechanics of
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time include wall running, rail-grinding, running
along the ceiling & rope swinging.
You will play as “Crash” & “Coco
Bandicoot”. Their objective is to reach the eighth level. Conventional features
of the series are available such as deceptions & impediments, swinging &
jumping your way for beating opponents, & breaking crates that contain
valuable items.
Gamers have a choice to alter b/w
Crash & Coco at any time they want. Both characters have similar move-set,
& they can use the power of Quantum Masks to overcome obstacles. Sometimes
the game gives you control over Neo Cortex, to use various stuff for surmounting
deceptions & obstacles during adventure.
All 3 villains are devising evil tactics
to end life on this universe. The objective of Crash & Coco is to reunite
the 4 masks to protect this universe from annihilation.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time vs Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 & 3: Uniqueness:
In terms of gameplay, the game
feels more innovative & unique which is an upgrade especially when platforming
features are concerned.
New platforming skills as
available & you can use surrounding such as wall running, rail grinding
& rope swinging, while exploring new ways to advance through the game.
Quantum Masks are new addition to
Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time. 4 Masks are available in the game. Time Mask
is for slowing time, while Gravity Mask is for controlling gravity to run along
ceiling & wall running.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time vs Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 & 3: Levels:
Based on the 2 stages from Crash
Bandicoot: It’s About Time, it is evident that the developer has given classic touch
to modern Crash. The demo of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time features 2
levels Dino Dash & Snow Way Out, both of them are set near the center of
the game. Dino Dash gives us a better understanding of Quantum Mask, & Snow
Way Out focuses on typical Crash action.
Crash can use the same old gameplay
mechanics but in Dino Dash you can experience detailed surroundings, crazy
rivals & remarkable stage length. Both levels of the game are lot bigger in
comparison to classic levels.

Snow Way Out allows both protagonists
to explore the snowy terrain set in 1954, where the wicked Neo Cortex is
waiting at top of the mountain. Crash uses old & new tricks to complete
this stage.
Earlier Crash Bandicoot games had
many levels & some of the levels had boss battles.
Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time vs Crash Bandicoot 1,2 & 3: Locations:
Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time
features new power-ups, new characters & amazing planets. The journey will
take you from deceptive jungles full of atrocious tentacles, to mysterious
castle filled with ancient machinery, it seems like you will be moving through
exceptional & remarkable locations.
First three installments of Crash
Bandicoot series were set on arctic, jungle, ruins, sewer, water, underwater, space
& more diverse locations.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time vs Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 & 3: Difficulty Curve:
In the sequel, prepare to die
many times. During demo, I died many times before completing the level. All of these
amazing moves & power-ups can’t save player from death. Crash Bandicoot: It’s
About Time is harder compared to previous games in the series. Deaths can make
you better in gameplay, but it can also limit fun because players have to
replay that section multiple times which feel tedious & boring.
The levels are lengthy, colorful,
diverse, & have many unique platforming dares with retro excitements. In
comparison to latest, earlier games were a lot easier.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time vs Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 & 3: Boss Fights:
Imagine formidable bosses &
monumental fights like never before, as both protagonists use Quantum Masks to
avail new powers that help them in their mission. Earlier games also featured
boss fights but there were limited tricks as compared to Crash Bandicoot 4. Fights
in the sequel look more intense. There is a greater rate of dying as the sequel
has a higher difficulty curve so expect boss fights to be really challenging.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time vs Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 & 3: Multiplayer Mode:
Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time
offers a single player & multiplayer mode. 2 players can play this game in
co-op while second player will control Cocoa. However, previous 3 Crash Bandicoot
games only offered single player mode. Including a multiplayer mode is an achievement.
Still we are waiting for more information about cross platform or cross save
feature.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time vs Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 & 3: Graphics:
In terms of graphics, Crash
Bandicoot: It’s About Time is no doubt an upgrade from Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane
Trilogy. I like 60 FPS & from the trailers, it is clear that Crash
Bandicoot 4 has smooth frame rate. Anything above 30 FPS is good. Graphically
sequel is lot better than previous games.

Crash & Coco are visually detailed
& refined, & the sequel is breathing unique personality & charm
into both playable characters. Imagine crazy new planets, lush epic vistas,
& an absurd variety of opponents & risks.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About
Time is the first game in the series to offer over 30 FPS since 2005. The earlier
installments had graphical issues that have been fixed in the sequel.
