I love Stronghold series even
though I have not played most of the games, & now my excitement & interest
in the series have been refreshed with the reveal of Stronghold Warlords.
Stronghold Warlords is the fresh
game in the classic “castle sim” series. The game allows you to confront Great
Khans, Imperial Warlords & Shogun commanders. You can command AI warlords
in this game, build castles & maintain economy.
Stronghold Warlords is offering 2
roles. One of them is the addition of Warlords system, which is including a
strategy system on top of it. Also you can enjoy the far East location to
discover some oriental castles which is the second role the game offers.

2 players can build, guard &
besiege castles together in the new co-op mode of the game. You can enjoy more
freedom in the multiplayer mode which grants the skill to play in squads with
mates or against the AI, but you can enjoy the choice of commanding a single
castle in co-op. One of the gamer can maintain the economy while another can
make troop.

The game gives you more control
over the warzone. The new warlords map originated from this startup design goal
& extended to include unique upgradable commanders with their new perks
& characteristics.
East Asia is chosen as a suitable
place for the fresh game, along with fresh equipment such as weapons that uses
gunpowder & troops from different Asian cultures.
The game is playable in large
terrain of Eastern Asia, which adds 4 nations such as Chinese, Japanese,
Mongols & Vietnamese.

The map of the world is divided
into multiple estates, each of them is displayed by a Warlord. All of them have
their pros & features, making them economically & diplomatically
diverse. The warlords provide pros for the masters & their skills can be
upgraded using Diplomacy points for single time actions. Diplomacy actions is
received from government buildings.
Stronghold Warlords puts enormous
stress on the sim feature, such as maintaining castles & producing armies,
while observing economy & survival of people. You can construct forts for
battling against rivalries & construct buildings for promoting industries,
& make units that can provide assistance in a number of areas.
The latest game in the series
offer redesigned graphics & a polished user interface. New graphics lets
you watch resources & popularity panel permanently, along with selected
units get a dedicated screen that show assault & defense parameters.
