DayZ is a survival horror video
game developed by Bohemia Interactive. DayZ was released for PC Windows via
early access on steam in the end of 2013 & its full release is available now.
The developers started working on
DayZ in 2012 when Dead Hall, joined Bohemia
Interactive to develop the standalone edition of the game. They set up a new
inventory system for DayZ & the game also includes new features like
diseases. DayZ had sold over three million game copies since its alpha release.

Your mission is to survive in
this post-apocalyptic world. You will not find any tips, waypoints or tutorials
but rather use your own mind to survive in this world. Your choices will decide
your destiny as the game has no save points & extra lives. If you fail, you
will lose everything that you have & you have to play again from the start
with nothing in your inventory. Fight enemies in the hostile environments where
other characters can be your friends or enemies.

DayZ is set in the fictional
post-Soviet Republic of Chernarus. A mysterious plague has transformed people
into zombies. You need to find food, water, weapons & medicine for survival
while slaying or running away from creatures. You must also assassinate, avoid
or cooperate with the other characters.
DayZ Gameplay:
The purpose of this game is to
survive & stay healthy in the zombie’s world. You will start with a simple costume,
a road flare & a rag, & you must travel miles to explore the map. You need
to check homes, barns & other places to find useful items. It includes food
& water which are the basic needs for survival. You must find clothes which
is not only used to customize player but can provide more space for storing
items & keeping you warm. You will need weapons which can save you from zombies’
attack. You can use melee weapons along with firearms & various attachments
including bipods & telescopic sights. Interact with other players
& DayZ offers voice chat which can let you communicate with others within a
certain range. In addition to voice communication, text chat is also available.
If you are in danger, wave to other characters for help.
Find medicines which can
aid sick survivors. The diseases include cholera, hepatitis, dysentery &
you should not eat rotten food or drink dirty water or you might get ill. You can
carry items & if somebody shoot or hurt you, it may damage your items
too. Read books during your adventure which you can
find throughout the map.

Build bases which can store
items. DayZ includes a new feature called whisper channel which can let you
communicate with other players using voice chat or text messages. It can let
you communicate in a certain range & outside that range, others will not
hear you. You can communicate using radios over long distances. Hunting animals
& cooking are other features included in DayZ. Vehicle transportation is
also available in DayZ.
You are one of the survivors in a
world of zombies. Play solo or take help of other players in this cruel
world & use your resources wisely.
