The story of Resident Evil 8:
Village proceeds as Chris killed wife of Ethan, Mia & apologizes to him at
the ending of Resident Evil Village announcement trailer.
The game is set a few years after
the tragic events of Resident Evil 7, in which Ethan looked for his lost wife,
Mia in Louisiana, the sequel starts with Ethan & Mia living a peaceful life
& they have left their tragic past behind them.
Ethan’s happiness came to an end
with Chris’ shocking appearance & he starts looking for cause behind Chris’
terrible actions & he is successful in locating him in a strange village.
Resident Evil 8 Village vs Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Main Characters:
Ethan Winters:
Ethan Winters is once again playing
the main hero in Resident Evil 8: Village. He played the protagonist role in
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard too. After Ethan was thrown into the tragic events
of the Baker estate incident, he was successful in escaping the nightmare in
one piece. Ethan was an unknown, & Resident Evil 7 was his debut project.
At the start of Resident Evil Village, Ethan was living a peaceful life with
his family.
Chris Redfield:
Chris Redfield has been the main
hero of the series since it started. He previously worked for S.T.A.R.S. as an
officer who helped in rescuing survivors of the Raccoon City incident. Now he
is working as a specialist for BSAA, a counter bioterror NGO. He is included in
Resident Evil 8 Village & played a role in Resident Evil 7 Biohazard too.
Differences in Resident Evil 8 Village vs Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gameplay & Settings:
Resident Evil 8 Village is a
first person survival horror game which is the sequel of Resident Evil 7,
keeping the nightmarish & disrupting tone. Resident Evil 8 Village is set
in a bizarre village located in a cold region. The emphasis of Resident Evil 8:
Village is more on fight & exploration in comparison to Resident Evil 7:
Biohazard.
The game setting is different
from Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, the fearful dark corners of Baker’s plantation
house is now replaced with the terrors of the strange as protagonist is looking
for answers inside crumbling mansions in the snow covered trees.
Resident Evil 8: Village features
first person combat which can bring a visceral edge to battle in sequel. Every
encounter is a combat for endurance against frightening enemies, & the game
pushes you to check the surroundings to find helpful items & foes in
strange locations. Resident Evil 8: Village puts more emphasis on fight &
there is more searching of the environment & a greater area to explore in
comparison to Resident Evil Biohazard. The village is crucial, as it is a place
with a life of its own that can constantly keep players on edge as they explore
it.
Comparison of Resident Evil 8 Village vs Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Story:
Resident Evil 8 Village is set to
be released on next-gen consoles including PS5 & Xbox Series X. It is the
next chapter in the Resident Evil series following Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
Resident Evil 8 is a direct sequel of Resident Evil 7, & the story is set
years after the tragic events that happened in its ancestor. Ethan is again the
main protagonist of the game & he has stated a new life with his wife Mia,
& their life is full of peace & happiness. But that peace is vanished
when Chris Redfield, the main star of the Resident Evil games appear & disturbs
the peaceful life of Ethan & his family, & he puts Ethan into a bitter
nightmare full of horrors in order to seek answers.
Resident Evil 8 Village and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Platforms:
The launch date of Resident Evil
8: Village is set for 2021, & it won’t be a launch title of next-gen
consoles. More information about Resident Evil 8: Village will be revealed in
future.
The game is set to be launched on
PS5, Xbox Series X & PC in 2021.
Resident Evil 7 Biohazard
launched on PC, PS4 & Xbox One in early 2017, & later it released on
Nintendo Switch in May 2018.
