play. Dungeons and Dragons Dark Alliance offer cross-gen play between old &
new generation such as PS5 players would be able to play with PS4 players, Xbox
Series X / S players can play together with Xbox One, & Steam & Epic
players can play the game together. Cross platform play allows players of
different platforms to play the game together such as Xbox users can play with
PlayStation & PC players. Cross play is better & popular multiplayer feature
as compared to cross gen play.

Alliance is an action role playing game designed for 4 players online co-op. But
it lacks local (split / same screen) co-op multiplayer.
Dungeons and Dragons Dark Alliance Cross Save:
Dungeons and Dragons Dark
Alliance does not support cross platform save. Cross save allows players to
start a game on one platform & resume from where they have left off on another
platform. Another name of Cross Save is Cross Progression. Lack of Cross Save feature
seems disappointing.
Multiplayer Features:
Cross Save is not supported in
Dungeons and Dragons Dark Alliance.
Cross Platform Play is replaced
with Cross-Gen Play.
Local co-op is not available but
Dungeons and Dragons Dark Alliance instead offers players an online co-op which
needs an internet connection for playing the game. Many users on the Reddit seem
disappointed with the lack of local co-op & I think that Dungeons and Dragons
Dark Alliance would be a more successful game if it would have offered local co-op.
