Will WWE 2K22 provide Offline & Online VS Multiplayer, Co-op Story Mode, Cross Platform Play, Cross Save or Cross Progression:
2K has announced its new
wrestling game “WWE 2K22” via a teaser trailer. The trailer shows gameplay
footage of Rey Mysterio & Cesaro. The trailer finishes with a logo of WWE
2K22 as well as a tagline ‘It Hits Different’ which means that this year’s WWE
will be different & better than before. Launch date of WWE 2K22 is not
revealed yet. The graphics of WWE 2K22 seem much enhanced as compared to WWE
2K20 even though the game seems to be in early stages of development. The
visuals will be more refined for the final version.
WWE 2K22 Cross Platform Play:
Games that support cross platform
play lets players of different platforms play with each other in multiplayer
mode.
Cross Platform play is available
in WWE 2K Battlegrounds. WWE 2K Battlegrounds is the first wrestling game
offering this feature. But Cross Play isn’t confirmed for WWE 2K22.
WWE 2K22 Offline & Online VS Multiplayer:
Local VS multiplayer mode allows
multiple players to play against each other on a single hardware. Online VS
multiplayer mode lets players play against each other via the internet.
WWE 2K22 provides both offline
& online VS multiplayer mode.
WWE 2K22 Co-op Story Mode:
Games offering co-op story mode
allows multiple players to complete the story mode cooperatively either locally
on one hardware or with online users.
Co-op story mode is not yet
confirmed for WWE 2K22.
WWE 2K22 Cross Progression / Save:
Cross Progression is also known
as Cross Save. Cross Progression creates an online account that stores progress
of players & inventory items. Users on multiple platforms are able to
access these accounts. If players start a game on one hardware, then they can
resume from the save point on another hardware. They can also access the
inventory items or any other player related data on any hardware.
Cross Progression is not yet
confirmed for WWE 2K22.
