Does The Ascent support Local (Shared / Split Screen) / Online Co-op, & PVP Multiplayer?

The Ascent Local (Shared / Split Screen) Co-op:
Local (shared / split screen) co-op
is an old multiplayer feature that supports multiple players on the shared /
split screen. Players must support each other during the story campaign.
Fortunately, The Ascent offers
Local (Shared / Split Screen) Co-op. 4 players can work together in the Ascent.
The Ascent Online Co-op:
Online Co-op lets gamers connect
to a larger network where they can join the gameplay with friends / strangers.
Fortunately, Online Co-op is
available in The Ascent. 4 players can cooperate with each other in the Ascent.
The Ascent Local (Shared / Split Screen) PVP Multiplayer:
Local (Shared / Split Screen) PVP
is a classic multiplayer feature that allows players to fight against each
other on the same screen.
Sadly, The Ascent does not offer
Local (Shared / Split Screen) PVP Multiplayer.
The Ascent Online PVP Multiplayer:
Online PVP multiplayer gives
gamers an opportunity to join the same network & play the game with even
unknown players. The internet is required for online play.
Unfortunately, The Ascent does
not support online PVP multiplayer.
The Ascent Cross Platform Play:
Cross Platform Play is a new
multiplayer feature that supports many players. Players can play the game together
even if they are playing from different platforms.
Luckily, Cross Platform Play between
Xbox & PC is supported by The Ascent.
The Ascent Cross Platform Save:
Cross Platform Save is a novel
feature that lets gamers load their saved progress on any platform that is
connected to the internet. An online account will hold players’ saved data
& inventory items.
Alas, there is no support for
Cross Platform Save in The Ascent.
The Ascent Cross Gen Play:
Cross Gen Play is a new feature
that is only available on the current & next generations of both
PlayStation & Xbox. However, it does not support cross play between these
two consoles. For example, players of PS4 can play the game together with
players of both PS4 & PS5, but can’t join the game with players of Xbox.
Fortunately, The Ascent supports
Cross Gen Play between Xbox Series X / S & Xbox One.
The Ascent Cross Gen Save:
Cross Gen Save lets players share
their game progress between both generations of the console. For example,
players of Xbox One can share their game progress with players of Xbox Series X
/ S.
Sadly, Cross Gen Save is
unsupported by The Ascent.
