Horizon Forbidden West or Horizon Zero Dawn 2 is an action / adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic planet, where mechanical monsters live. This game is set in an open world & it focuses on role-playing game content. Horizon Forbidden West is a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn that launched in 2017.

Horizon Forbidden West Story:

This game is set after the events of the predecessor. The balance of the planet is recovered, & the humans try to live together peacefully with the wild life & robots. A fresh threat has shown up & a fresh outbreak is hazardous for life on this planet.

 

Horizon Forbidden West Gameplay:

The in-game action of this game can be seen from a 3rd person view. A big planet containing different locations is waiting to be discovered. You can travel on foot, or ride machines. Fresh tools have made the discovery of the planet simple. The heroine is able to climb lofty locations, & simply jump from one platform to another, using a rope & a hook. Now you can jump from high locations without getting any damage using your parachute. You can dive to the deep bottom of the water using your mask.

Completing missions will progress the game narrative. In addition, there are optional side events. Like the previous game, dynamic fights with rivals is very crucial. You need to fight against dangerous humankind as well as robots. New weaponries can be used as well as old for beating foes. You can quietly wipe out rivals or use powerful weaponries like cannons for damaging powerful robots.

As you proceed, you will be able to improve your current abilities & unlock new ones.
