Before Your Eyes Gameplay:
The tale narrated in this game is
non-linear, so its course is defined by the users’ choices. The playable hero
dies in this game. He finds himself on the ship of the strange Ferryman who
takes souls to eternal life. To complete his work, the Ferryman needs to listen
to the playable character’s life story & understand his every secret. The
protagonist cannot lie to the Ferryman, because if he cheats with the Ferryman,
he will be transformed into a bird & stuck forever b/w life & death.
The in-game action takes place from
a first person view. During gameplay, users see the recollections of the
protagonist, right from his birth & time he spent with his loved ones,
moving towards his first love, to starting a career in art. As time elapses,
the good recollections turned out to be darker, showing his chaotic life, which
Ferryman wants to hear to learn about his true story.
