Firewatch is a first person adventure video game developed by Campo Santo. Firewatch was launched on Nintendo Switch on 17 December 2018.

Firewatch is one of the top first person narrative genre. Firewatch was liked by its fans for its characters, story, dialogue & visual style but there were technical problems in the game & fans also did not like its ending.

Firewatch Story:

Firewatch story follows Henry who is working as a fire lookout. He soon realizes the bizarre things happening to him & his supervisor Delilah. He discovers that these strange things are connected to a conspired mystery that happened long ago. He can talk to Delilah using a walkie-talkie.

Firewatch Gameplay:

You can control Henry in Firewatch, who is working as a fire lookout in the Wyoming wilderness. He discovers clues about strange things happening in the surrounding region & he can communicate with Delillah using a walkie-talkie. You can select from a list of dialogue options to tell her upon the discovery of new interactive objects or environments, or you can avoid talking. You will discover new areas as the game progresses. Firewatch features day / night cycle. If you find items during exploration, then you can store them in your inventory & you can later use them.

Your duty is to look for smoke & protect the wilderness. There is something strange going in the wilderness that keeps you discovering the forest. You can discover a wild & unknown environment, & you will face questions & you can make decisions that will make or destroy the relationship you have.

Delilah has got something to tell about almost everything, whether you need advice or you are just informing her about your progress. Things will be difficult as you progress & you must make critical (sometimes difficult) choices.

You won’t find a big arrow at the top of the screen which points you where you need to go. You don’t need to worry about because the map can help you & you can also use your compass for better navigation.
