Comparison and differences of The Last of Us Part II vs The Last of Us:

It is physical and spiritual kind of endurance oriented adventurous game which is played from 3rd person viewpoint.

Naughty Dog uploaded 10 minutes E3 2018 gameplay trailer of The Last of Us Part 2. The gameplay trailer is amazing & there is no difference b/w cutscenes & gameplay. Also if you alert the opponents, they will keep searching you behind obstacles & even inside buildings. In the gameplay trailer, the heroine crawled beneath truck & opponents even found her & then she hid inside building but they discovered her. Also the gameplay seems real as opponents are stronger & you won't survive after enough hits. The health replenishes shortly after being damaged.

The Last of Us Part II Review

The Last of Us Part II is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PS4. The sequel to The Last of Us, was announced at the PlayStation Experience event that was held in December 2016. The first trailer revealed the return of Ellie and Joel, whose story takes place five years after the first game. In the game, players assume control of Ellie. 

The Last of Us was one of PS3 major hit and is now getting a next installment. The Last of Us 2 has revived the hope of its fans who wanted a sequel, and they are anxiously waiting for its part II. The trailer confirmed the return of the main protagonists from the earlier game, Joel & Ellie whose tale takes place 5 years after the original game.

The Last of Us 2 Story:

The tone coming out of Ellie’s guitar says that it will be a story of revenge.

It is post-pandemic era. Ellie and Joel have taken refuge in Wyoming, US due to imminent threat from the wild infected creatures.

In response to frequent threats, Ellie determined to hunt her adversaries. However, she encountered stubborn resistance from her mighty opponents.

Neil Druckmann said that the story of the first part was about love & this part is about hate. He also said that this game will continue the tale of Ellie & Joel instead of jumping to new characters.

Game will enable players to have the ability to reply numerous dialogue choices and would be fantastic as there could be some moments of comedic brilliance and moments of sudden heartbreak, depending upon player’s involvement in each decision.

The Last of Us Part 2 Gameplay: 

The player must use all sorts of armaments and clandestine means of engagements to guard against certain aggressive creatures who are metamorphosed due to hazardous viral infection.

The player will come to know the mounting ethical questions created by Ellie’s persistent quest for vengeance.

Based on comparison of The Last of Us Part 2 vs The Last of Us, I conclude that the sequel is much better than the original. It has seen gameplay & graphical improvements & Naughty Dog has finished it off very well. There are similarities and differences in The Last of Us Part 2 and The Last of Us, and I think that the former is better than the latter.
