World of Final Fantasy Maxima is an action role playing video game & you can begin the gameplay with both the siblings as they explore the world of Grymoire. In Grymoire the humans & creatures you will meet are rendered in chibi style. The two siblings have the chance to change b/w chibi form or their real form. The adventure will make you in friendship with several creatures known as mirages that you will encounter in fight & within the navigable environment.

World of Final Fantasy Maxima’s combat system uses Active Time Battle system which is used in multiple games in the series. In combat, gamers control a group of mirages which can be stacked upon each other to offer various boons in fight while decreasing the no. of turns that can be taken. The types of monsters used affect the team’s available abilities in fight. You can befriend monsters after you beat them in fight. There are standard mirages as well as special mirages. The latter can be temporarily summoned into fight using Action Points: the mirage remains in fight, replacing the main team, until the summoner’s AP is depleted.

World of Final Fantasy Setting:

The story of the two siblings starts in a town & then they visit the world of Grymoire. The residents of Grymoire are the chibi like Lilikins & its creatures are known as mirages. The playable characters & others like them are called jiants.
