Extinction Review:

If anyone wants to play a hectic hack & slash boss fighting game, then Extinction is worth picking up.

In Extinction review I have discussed its gameplay & have briefly described its story. For entertainment you can watch game trailers & walkthroughs.

In this game, massive armies of beasts known as Ravenii standing 150 feet tall threaten to eliminate human beings. You play Extinction as a soldier named Avil who is equipped with the abilities to fight the hordes of Ravenii. You have to fight against massive brutes & the minions across a sprawling countryside, defending towns & saving people. Be careful as endless waves of Ravenii can attack you from the ground & air. Use the dynamic skill based combat system to disarm & eliminate rivals. You are the person that stands b/w humanity & human annihilation.

In the game, you can be amazed by the size of the ogres. But these ogres have many weak points that can be targeted but it may not be very easy.

Extinction Gameplay:

Save as many people as possible by eliminating the enemies. You can also complete dynamic side quests & upgrade your player’s skills in the story campaign.

You can move horizontally & vertically & can perform wall runs. You need to use your whip as a vault to perform air attacks. Learn dynamic battle maneuvers to traverse the massive monsters & expose their weak points, rolling along different skill trees to develop a path best suited to your gameplay style.

Move through a completely destructible environment & use the surroundings to your advantage.

When you enter the combat zone, you can find out that it is different from earlier battlefields, ensuring a new battle situation each time you play the game.

Ogre are colorful monsters who have protected themselves in armor made of wood, bone & iron which have to be destroyed first before you can actually damage the ogre. You can use Avil’s Rune Strike which is very powerful blow that allows you to aim a piece of armor, quickly run towards it & destroy it. You can easily break the wood armor but you have to be more accurate if you want to destroy iron armor because you need to destroy the padlocks holding it on. When you progress through the campaign, the monsters can begin rocking magic infused armor & it can be very difficult for you to destroy it.

The fluid animation & size of the beasts make eliminating them dramatic but once you have figured out the handful of armor variations & the planning needed to eliminate them, wiping out the ogres can begin to feel a little routine. You can find it difficult at start when you are combating massive ogres but then it becomes easy. Later on you can eliminate more than one beasts at a time, some of them can have weapons in their hands, but combating them is quite similar.

You can charge your Rune Strike by rescuing people before you attack a beast. You can find teleport crystals scattered around each map & civilians covering beside them, which can be used to take the people to secure places. By doing it you can enhance your rune power, as does eliminating the ogres that attack them. Extinction gives you the feeling like a hack & slash video game with arcade like battle.

The speed matters as well as beasts galumphs around the map, it can destroy any building that comes in its path, lowering the Extinction meter. If the meter touches zero, it means that the ogre has completely destroyed the city so the mission can fail which is another challenge you can face beside eliminating ogres & rescuing helpless people. It is also important to lure the beasts away from the town to save the city than trying to eliminate it.

Skirmish Mode:

Create unique battlegrounds & challenge online gamers for the top score.

Extinction Mode:

Extinction Mode can let you battle nonstop hordes of incoming giants & their minions.
