and Volta Football.
EA Sports FC 24 will evolve Cross
Play functionality that players experienced in FIFA 23. Cross Platform
Multiplayer works on the same platform generation, across several modes in FIFA
24.
In the Ultimate Team, Online
Matchmaking will feature Cross Play between players of PS4 & Xbox One, as
well as with a separate Cross Play team for players using PS5, Xbox Series X/S
and PC. Cross Play is not available on the Switch.
Players can join their friends in
Pro Clubs and Volta Football in EA Sports FC 24 via Cross Play. Cross Platform
Multiplayer will be available in the Clubs but it should be noted that Cross
Play only works for certain modes on the same platform generation.
Cross Platform Multiplayer will
be introduced to the following modes of EA Sports FC 24:
- Clubs
- Co-op Season
- VOLTA FOOTBALL (Arcade, Squads)
- Ultimate Team Co-Op (Squad Battles, Rivals, Friendlies)
As well as Cross Platform
Multiplayer will return in the following modes:
- Ultimate Team (Rivals, Champions, Online Draft, Online Friendlies, Play a Friend)
- Online Friendlies
- Online Seasons
Can I run Cross Progression in EA
Sports FC 24 (FIFA 24)?
Cross Platform Progression is not
supported in EA Sports FC 24. Therefore, if players play on Xbox, & decide
to transfer their content to the PlayStation, then they would not be able to move
it & would have to start from the beginning.
