Rockstar co-founder & lead writer Dan Houser mentioned that the employees were working 100 hour weeks & he added that intense work schedule have happened several times in 2018.

The workers of Rockstar immediately responded & they wrote their own stories about the hardships at the studio.

The workers said that Rockstar forces them into extreme crunch. Rockstar has allowed its staff to share their experience online, many employees said that they have never endured the harsh work schedule that the studio has recently come under fire for.

Vulture published an article on the making of RDR2 on 14 October. One line caught the employees’ attention which describes that the studio were working 100 hour weeks. This line was added by Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser. Immediately workers responded & they wrote about their own hardships while working on RDR 2.

Houser later said in a statement, that only some senior members including him have worked hard because they are passionate about a project.
