11-11: Memories Retold is an
adventure video game set in the time of World War One. 11-11: Memories Retold
is published by Bandai Namco & the game is released on 9 November, 2018.
The Studios behind making of 11-11: Memories Retold are to be congratulated for attempting to look at the soldiers that fought in the battlefield, their relationships, emotions & intentions, rather than only focusing on the fighting.
On 11 November, 1916, a
photographer leaves Canada to join the western front in Europe. On that day, a
German engineer is notified that his son is missing in action. Both want to
save mankind & return from battle alive.
Both these men have different
intentions to join battle. Kurt joins battle to search for his son who is missing in battle. Harry is in battle seeking adventure.
11-11: Memories Retold Story:
Harry enters battlefield to
impress someone but he is unaware of the dangers of battle. Kurt who knows very
well about the realities & pains of battlefield, joins it in order to find
his lost son who was fighting on the front line. Your aim is to protect mankind
& you must return alive to your loved ones.

The graphics of 11-11: Memories
Retold are amazing because when you play it, you will feel like you are walking
through a living painting which is regularly being filled in around you as you
cross the scenery.
11-11: Memories Retold Gameplay:
When player begins playing 11-11:
Memories Retold, they will feel a very heart touching moment when both Harry
& Kurt choose to join the battlefield. As they go through this process, 11-11:
Memories Retold switches player b/w the 2 heroes until both end up signing up
at the same point in the plot. It gives us an idea about how the game is going
to play out. You can choose any of the 2 characters & when you make enough
progress then you can switch to another character. When you play as Harry, most
of the time you are taking pictures & you can interact with the person (Major
Barret) who convinced Harry to join battle. The story of Kurt is more emotional
& you are hopelessly searching for your missing son.
Harry takes pictures of soldiers
on the front lines of battle with aim to publish them in newspaper & return
with glorious stories from fight.
You can play this game from third
person perspective. You can interact with other soldiers. You can also solve
puzzles. You can collect items by searching the environment which offers
historical info. & context of the fight. You can simply leave them. 11-11:
Memories Retold connects you emotionally with the 2 main characters. Both of
the protagonists are opposite, yet they meet & protect each other’s lives. Once
they meet, they work together & become friends.
You need to collect items &
solve simple puzzles which makes this game very linear. These items will offer
you documents & information about the battlefield for example what
equipment was used & more.
