Setting:
Set in 304 BC up to the establishment
of the Roman Empire in 1st Century CE.
Tutorial:
Player can play the tutorial
campaign to learn the game’s key concepts which is about 2 hours long.
Game Map:
Game map stretches from Britannia
to the Indian subcontinent & way down to Ethiopia. Each province contains a
single city & there are over 7000 cities. The game has over 400 playable
nations.
Religion:
Raise stability of player by
sacrificing animals.
Trade Goods:
Cities produces 30-40 type of
trade goods. Those goods are also important for player as Wood is required in building
& Iron is needed for Heavy Infantry & Horses are required in Cavalry.
Population:
Population types are: citizens:
who do the trade, freedmen: who provide man power to armies, tribesmen &
slaves: help in producing goods. If player has more population then player has
more buildings such as with 10 additional people, player get another building
level. Characters can be Governors & Generals/Admirals. A Character has a
health value between 0 & 100 & when health value reaches 0, that
character die. Player can also attack provinces in order to steal population as
extra slave.
Army:
Army can have nine different unit
types. Each army unit consists of 1000 men. Player can also create a naval unit
& transfer ships to it. Player can also build a road to enhance army
movement for raiding nearby cities.
