You can use the jump button for dodging provided you time that jump correctly. Try out skills before buying them in the Void available in customization & main menu. You can practice the skills before buying them to know what best suit you. Auto Assist mode is available in DMC 5 which is a combat learning tool. When you activate this mode, it takes a degree of control from you. You can perform randomly attack combos using the attack buttons.

Devil May Cry 5 features co-operative play with friends:

A fresh trailer for DMC 5 showcased the game’s cameo system. You can use the new system to play DMC 5 co-operatively with your friends.

DMC 5 features a single player campaign & you can choose any 1 of 3 characters including Nero, Dante & V. These characters can cross paths at certain points in the story. If you play DMC 5 online, when another player runs into your player, you can interact with that character. In some scenarios, you & other character will be fighting together & you both can perform combos in the same fight.

DMC 5 is a single player game so you won’t see downtime or long loading screens if DMC 5 can’t find another character for you to join. When you find another character, DMC 5 will ask you to rate that character. Players with better ratings will unlock useful rewards.

Along with 3 characters & cameo system, you can use upgraded weapon systems & combat mechanics too.
