Many years ago an AI called Shira was developed to save the people of Mars. The AI got corrupted & began attacking people. People cannot protect themselves against Shira & they ask for help. The Earth Defense Force team battles against Shira & uses strong lasers to beat it. Shira had a backup that escapes & conquers a space station.

Earth Defense Force flees & sends their most courageous soldier to eliminate Shira. You are going to control that pilot & you must beat Shira before it can complete its new attack force & threaten everybody living in this universe.
