Terminator: Resistance is based on the movie series. This game is playable from first person perspective & it includes role playing elements. Terminator: Resistance is developed by Teyon Games. In this game you can control a resistance member who attempts to stop robots from damaging humans.
Terminator: Resistance Story:
You can control Jacob Rivers in
this game whose squad was eliminated by machines. When you are joined by team of survivors
then all of you start a new adventure to eliminate robots before they destroy
humanity. The destiny of you & your squad members is based on the choices
made by you in this game.
Terminator: Resistance Gameplay:
You can focus on multiple tasks
in this game & battle against robots. You can face your enemies alone or
along with other soldiers controlled by AI. During battle you can choose from a
big variety of weapons & gadgets which you search or craft yourself, using
resources. As you progress through the gameplay, you will get new abilities
& improve current abilities. Along with abilities that you can use in
battle, you can also use your skills such as lock picking.
The game includes many robots
& you can beat robots if you target their weak spots. It is better to hide
behind covers during firefighting because health does not regenerate itself in
this game & you will use first aid kits to restore health. However, facing
T-800 robots feel very different because they are strong against your fire
& they have their own attack force so there is no way of attacking head-on.
The gameplay trailer of
Terminator: Resistance allows you to see the game’s battle, but it also highlights
stealthier elements of the game. Ordinary weapons can’t damage robots. You can
use laser to destroy robots or hide from them. The gameplay
trailer shows that protagonist is shooting at robots, turrets. The
trailer also shows moments when you need to hide or use electro knife to damage
rivals.
Fans might be thinking that upcoming
Terminator game will let players shoot evil machines but when we watched 30
minutes of Terminator: Resistance gameplay, then it surprised us because the footage of the game is focused on stealth. There are many sections in this
game where you won’t even shoot enemies because enemies are very powerful so
stealth is not a choice but it is a necessity in this game.
Enemies can eliminate you with a
single shot but you can hack turret by approaching it & solve a mini puzzle
game in order to hack into enemy system & allow it to shoot the other enemies
& make job easier for you.
Instead of shooting enemies, the
game stresses on hacking opponent turret. When enemy machines spot you, they
can eliminate you with a single shot. You can use ultra-vision which can spot
machines through walls & it proves to be helpful while progressing through
the gameplay.
