Shovel Knight: King of Cards is the final DLC of the popular
game Shovel Knight. Both DLC & original game has been created by Yacht Club
Games. This DLC is included in Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove package or players
can get it as a standalone expansion.
Enter a unique card game named Joustus which allows players
to gather cards & build a deck, look for more than 120 unique cards, beat
competitors, & become the Champion of each House of Joustus.
Shovel Knight: King of Cards Story:
King of Cards in the last story campaign in the Shovel
Knight. The game allows players to control King Knight, as he can shoulder bash
& spin jump through enemies.
Joustus is a very popular card game. Anyone who beats the 3
Joustus Judges will become crowned King of Cards & will also win a big
treasure.
Shovel Knight: King of Cards Gameplay:
Shovel Knight: King of Cards offers same mechanics as base
game. It is a 2 dimensional platformer with role playing elements. The main
character of this game move & battles in a little different way than the
earlier characters. He is able to stun the rivals & destroy some of the
obstacles using his signature move. As players progress through the narrative,
the protagonist gains powerful weapons, armor & new allies. One more
exciting element is the mini game in which players can play cards with non-playable
characters.
The main campaign of this game contains 30 new levels split
into 4 different planets. Players can test their abilities (such as battle
& cracking riddles) in specially designed challenges.
Collect cards, beat competitors, & build a deck of
cards. Players’ adventure will let them travel through bizarre worlds, collect
new subjects, & become King of Cards.
Shoulder Bash skill allows players to smash adversaries
& obstacles in their path.
The protagonist has a red hearts shape health meter. By
collecting heart shaped items after beating foes will replenish his health
meter.
Shovel Knight: Kings of Cards includes more than 30 new
stages that are designed in 4 different worlds, & also players will encounter
new foes & new bosses.
