Vestaria Saga I: War of the Scions has just launched on Steam. It is the first game from the creator of Fire Emblem in a decade who quits working for Intelligent Systems in 1999. It looks simple but fans like it because of its extensive maps which offer multiple interlocking events based on the tactical choices & placement of characters.

It is the narrative of a battle b/w a strong realm & a small coastal empire. When an imperial ship is set ablaze, then it forces a prince to battle to secure a future for his empire. The game is focused on the story of a young prince Zade who is escaping from an imperial force & he does not have enough men on his side, so he needs to make tough choices to save his kingdom.

It is a strategy role playing game where positioning, movement, & weapons are required for victory. The game allows you to move heavily armed soldiers around the map & you will confront pirates, rebels, creatures, imperial army, & others.

The game offers varying narrative directions & endings based on your decisions & who endures to the end.

More than 20 unique characters can be hired with multiple classes, weaponry & abilities.

The game offers intricate maps filled with opponents & strategic riddles that you need to overcome.

There are 2 difficulty modes to accommodate both experts & novices.
