A Long Way Down Review:
A Long Way Down is a deck building video game set in a dark
planet. Player need to gather their group & use cards to endure, battle &
make their way through a maze of creatures arranged by a mastermind. The
decisions made by players will lead them to judgement.
A Long Way Down is highly inspired from popular deck
building games including Darkest Dungeon, Hand of Fates & Slay the Spire.
It is a combination of a role playing game & a deck building
game.
A Long Way Down Story:
Embody Sam & attempt to flee this maze where a tricky
& guilty mastermind lives. Memories & decisions of players guide them
but don’t get trapped in this maze.
A Long Way Down Gameplay:
The cards decided by players will determine how to discover
this dungeon & how to protect themselves from the inside fears.
Players need to fight their way through this punishing
creatures in maze.
This dungeon is filled with bigger challenges but players
need to go deeper inside in order to reveal them. The game requires players to
use their cards & cunning, adapt their play style & beat all foes.
Players will confront many anonymous characters in the
dungeon. Will players make friends or foes?
It is up to players whether they rush to flee dungeon or try
to discover it.
Players can upgrade their stuff.
Gather rewards & use them to enhance their power.
Players need to face the evil overlord.
Decisions made by players will affect the last fight. Can
players beat the mastermind in its maze?
