Super Smash Bros. Ultimate next expansion character will be announced today (16 January):
According to Nintendo, upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
expansion character will be announced today. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
director Masahiro Sakurai will reveal this fighter during a live stream that
will take place on 16 January 2020 at 2 PM GMT.
The length of the live stream will be approx. 35 minutes
& it will feature an “in-depth look” at the new expansion fighter.
It is the 5th expansion fighter that will be
available in the game as part of the game’s fighter pass, & the 6th
total character to be launched to this date which also includes Piranha Plant
that was presented as a bonus fighter to those who pre-ordered the game copy.
Launched characters include Dragon Quest’s hero, Joker, bear & bird pal
Bajo & Kazooie, & Fatal Fury’s fighter Terry Bogard.
According to Nintendo, more expansion fighters are in the
works for this game, although Nintendo has not provided any clues about who
those characters will be.
