Fish live in water because water can provide oxygen to them. They can’t live outside water. Hence they can’t drown.

We have been given that “2 fish drown” so fish can’t drown as they live in water.

Another statement says that “4 fish swim away” which is incorrect too as fish can’t escape the aquarium. A tank is covered from all side so fish can’t escape.

Third statement says that “3 fish die”. Still fish are in the aquarium.

Hence the only solution is that all fish are inside the aquarium. So the right answer of this question is 10.

This question is rather logical as there is no mathematics involved. Logical questions can be solved with only IQ & such questions are tricky. Anyway you know that fish can’t drown, can’t escape the aquarium or if they die still they are inside aquarium.
