Hi Adrian & a warm welcome to Games Cover!

Q1. Please tell us about your studio, and yourself. I'm particularly interested to know what makes you start your own studio?

A. I am currently a 1-man developer team, not really a studio per say haha, but I do intend on bringing some people on board for games after Forest Story, and when that day comes, we will be known as “Team Withered”. What inspired me to start my own studio? I don't know. It just sort of happened.

Q2. Which problems are you facing while developing Forest Story?

Currently the biggest issue is time. Between school and work, time is of the essence. And some days you just are too tired to do anything. Thats all that comes to mind frankly.

Q3. Which gaming engine are you using for it?

A. I am going with the standard Unity Game Engine. But most of my work takes place on Blender 3D.

Q4. What made "Forest Story" fun for you personally?

A. It’s fun for me because I can just be carefree with the game and have as much fun as possible. It’s an open canvas, that I can have as much freedom as possible to paint.

Q5. What do you do for enjoyment outside of games?

A. I really like orchestral music, and I am also an artist.

Q6. Employees around the world are working from homes. Can you share a rough percentage of how much work is completed in home vs office?

A. Well right now I don’t really have an office. It’s all being done from home.

Q7. Which indie games are you excited for this year?

A. Nothing that will be coming out this year...but I am really excited for Hollow Knight: Silksong, and Omno.

Q8. You must have been pretty aware of your natural aptitudes and talents?

A. Yeah, I am focussing mostly on making the world and doing the art for this game since those are where my talents lie naturally.

Q9. What does your studio have in-store for 2020? We’re excited to know!

A. By the end of this year I plan on finally releasing the Forest Story kickstarter. Other than that, its creating Forest Story chapter 1, and making it the best it can be.

Q10. What advice would you give to the new aspirants?  Which motivational lines would you quote for them?

A. Don’t act like you know everything. Ask questions, even if it will make you look dumb. You can't learn any other way, and asking questions is a big part of being an indie developer.

I highly appreciate your talent, passion, & devotion. I believe in receiving marvelous games from you in future too. Thank you for covering the interview & make us acquaint with Forest Story.
