Skunkape Games made a remastered version of Sam and Max Save the World that hits Nintendo Switch & PC on 2 December 2020. It is a point & click adventure video game that first launched in 2006 & it is divided into 6 episodes. It was created by Telltale Games. Telltale Games is not operational now & former staff of the company has made another studio “Skunkape”, which received the episodic game rights after Telltale Games closed its services.

Sam & Max Hit the Road is considered a very humoristic point & click adventure that debuted in 1993 & it was developed by LucasArts. Telltale acquired the rights of the series & it developed more episodes, making 3 seasons of the game. Sam & Max Save the World episodic series made up the first season.

Sam and Max Save the World remastered will enhance graphics & audio by removing compression that was needed to release the base version. Now you can have a better controller support.

Sam & Max are freelance cops: a duo of dog & rabbit, & they are armed. The first season launches in December as Save the World with enhanced visuals, enhanced audio, gamepad support, & more advanced features.

The new game supports widescreen displays, & the highest resolution supported by PC & Nintendo Switch, along with remastered & re-encoded musical tracks & includes improved characters, as well as fresh acting & camera work in some cutscenes, along with few fresh exterior sites, 5 fresh jazz numbers on the soundtrack, as well as an opening sequence that makes the game look like one, cohesive video game, rather than 6 episodes merged into one.

Sam & Max Save the World features the same gameplay, narratives & gags. The developers wanted to tweak certain features of the game & wanted to leave the rest because the original game made them proud.
