Project Wingman is a fresh title
& it has a story campaign similar to Ace Combat series. Because they are
following the footsteps of a good developer who knows how to make stories, it
seems like Project Wingman story will be good too. Following Ace Combat formula
will help succeed Project Wingman.
Comparison of Ace Combat 7 vs Project Wingman Gameplay:
Gameplay of Ace Combat 7 is best
& they know how to get it right, & they know how to design control
mechanics. They have done great in making those schemes when making the
gameplay because they have been doing amazing work for years.
Project Wingman also follows the
same tried and true gameplay mechanics. Because they are using one platform PC
for launching their game, & hence they can try other approaches that Ace
Combat 7 developers have refused to try. Project Wingman can look into what
fans like & dislike about Ace Combat 7, & can make a game based on what
fans wanted to have in Ace Combat 7, & can include those features in their
game. Because Ace Combat 7 is already released so Project Wingman has the
advantage to make a game that fans want to play. This way they can
differentiate themselves from Ace Combat 7.
Project Wingman is developed in
Unreal Engine 4 like Ace Combat 7. For Project Wingman, multiple modes are
planned such as Free Flight mode that allows you to have fun with the easy
flight across the map, & there is an in depth Conquest mode for more
enjoyment. You will fight bosses & squadrons in territory wars that take
inspiration from roguelikes & role playing games, unlike only dogfighters.
You will earn money through triumphs & can buy new aircrafts, & can
build up your own military.
Rich History:
Ace Combat 7 features a rich
history because it has been running for a longer period of time & it makes
game with its full potential & the last game in the series Ace Combat 7 was
praised by critics & fans. Project Wingman on the other side does not have
many developers working on the game & it is a new game which does not have
any background history of games. Not many fans are holding its back & it
lacks in having a rich history.
Multi-Platforms Release:
Project Wingman developers said
that they are launching their game only on PC Steam & they don’t have
diversity of platforms on their end. So their game might not be available to
fans of PlayStation, Xbox One, Switch & Stadia, & they would not be able
to sell that many copies. Project Wingman is limited to potential buyers of PC.
Ace Combat 7 on the other side launched their games on multiple platforms
including PS4, Xbox One & PC Windows.
VR Headsets:
Ace Combat 7 has the support of
PS VR. It received high scales & sold many copies of the game on VR
