Comparison and contrast of Immortals Fenyx Rising vs Genshin Impact:
Fans have unfairly compared
Immortals Fenyx Rising to Nintendo open world title Legend of Zelda Breath of
the Wild.
Breath of the Wild was critically
acclaimed when it launched in 2017, & people think that several open world
games have taken assets from Breath of the Wild. Breath of the Wild is fabulous
at upbringing open world titles with new design. And a number of games
including Assassin’s Creed Odyssey & Genshin Impact have copied elements of
landmark exploration from Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. Some of the games
have borrowed more elements than the rest, & now Immortals Fenyx Rising is
taking elements from the game which is a good sign & I think that comparing
these games to Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is fine. If games draw
inspiration to Breath of the Wild then it’s a good tactic but some people think
that it is more than just inspiration. People are arguing that like Genshin
Impact, Immortals Fenyx Rising are rip offs of Nintendo’s exclusive but that is
not true. They are just drawing inspiration from Breath of the Wild & that
could become the key feature for success of Genshin Impact & Immortals Fenyx
Rising.
Immortals Rising Fenyx is set in
Greece which is the settings of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. This location is
gorgeous & it is one of the thing I like about Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
& I like it about this game too. The environment is stunning, you have
amazing landscapes, & things are always sunny. You get good feelings &
good vibes while playing Immortals Rising Fenyx. Apart from amazing art style,
gameplay is stimulating too. The game allows you to play as Fenyx who is a girl
with powers. These abilities are used for lifting things & throwing them.
You have normal & special attacks using your blade. It allows you to change
your armor, weapons, & other things. You have a bow very similar to BOTW.
The game lets you make your own character at the start of the story campaign. It
has humor & you will not play it seriously. Do not think of it as a serious
story like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey because Immortals Fenyx Rising has a tale
full of fun and humor. Even though Assassin’s Creed Odyssey had jokes in some
parts but this game is full of jokes. Also the game allows you to sneak up on
dangerous animals, tame them & then make them your mount. You can glide because
of the wings & they can be customized too. More like in Genshin Impact
where you can get wings.
Genshin Impact is graphically
better polished than Immortals Fenyx Rising. Like Genshin Impact & Zelda,
you can climb almost anything in Immortals Fenyx Rising. It uses a stamina
meter & upon depletion of stamina, you fall down.
Genshin Impact is an open world RPG that lets you control 1 of 4 characters & you can interchange between your party. You can control character & can run, climb, swim & glide which has a stamina bar & if stamina bar reaches lower, you will fall down. Some of the heroes have skills that can change the environment, including freezing water to make a path that assist player in navigating environment.
