PES 2021 is a ‘Season Update’, & is not a full-scale launch. In other words, PES 2021 is eFootball PES 2020 video game along with so-called Season Update such as updated jerseys, leagues & lineups. The reason for making PES 2021 as just an update is that the next-gen debut is quite complex, so Konami did not want to launch a full video game in 2020. PES 2021 provides fans enough fun to “tide them over” until PES 2022 is launched. For PES 2022, Konami does not use the word “eFootball PES” & that means Konami is not in love with the new name. PES' main competitor EA Sports FIFA releases FIFA 21 for current-gen consoles along with next-gen consoles. But PES will release on next-gen consoles in late 2021 when PES 2022 launches. Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2022 is going to be extra special with big improvements such as gameplay improvements & visual graphics enhancements compared to eFootball PES 2021 which is actually PES 2020 video game with an update. PES 2022 is without any doubt such a wonderful news for the PES fans around the world. With PES 2022, fans are going to have an experience that they may have never had in any of the previous PES installments.
