Kinetic Edge vs similar puzzle / racing games of 2021 – KE vs Pile Up vs BH Trials:

Kinetic Edge is the most recent game from SCT, & it is very exciting which allows you to solve puzzles & complete races that will hook you up for weeks.

Kinetic Edge is a different game from other games of the genre, but still I have compared it with similar games that are slated to release in 2021.

When you start Kinetic Edge, a menu will open up which can be easily navigated & does not include any unnecessary info. You can enjoy great soundtrack which matches the game theme.

KE features both solo & multiplayer modes. Solo mode of the game includes multiple modes which are all enjoyable & daring.

Every mode of the game provides different ways to play the game, & they are daring such as you need to dodge different barriers or use different shapes. Every shape has a different dare, shapes for example Sphere & Golf ball can be used easily while shapes such as Pyramids & Cubes is difficult to use.

Check out the game modes of Kinetic Edge below:

Race Mode:

It is very easy to understand Race Mode. Players needs to race against the clock & reach all check points as soon as possible. Player who completes the race mode in fastest time & with min. number of respawns used, will clinch the victory. Progressing through the levels will make them challenging. You can use 3 different skills in this mode such as Dash for high speed; Jump for jumping up to or across certain surfaces; & Blast but I don’t know about its use.

Golf Mode:

It is a very enjoyable mode that lets you play levels styled like golf either yourself to make scores on the leaderboards or with buddies. Golf mode consists of 29 holes in 3 levels. It is the most enjoyable mode, & it is very simple to pick up & play this mode, with no skills required, & the only thing this mode needs is a little patience.

Maze Mode:

In Maze Mode, you will navigate through diverse mazes & your goal is to arrive at the termination of the level as fast as possible. Every maze of the game is generated procedurally which means you will have a different maze when you replay it. This mode presents the distance that you must take to reach the end which can help you a bit in choosing the direction.

Gauntlet Mode:

Gauntlet Mode is the hardest mode of KE. There are no checkpoints & you need to finish every level in only 7 minutes. If you fall of an obstacle then you can’t resume from checkpoint but begin from the start of that level. It needs more patience than other modes of the game.

Pile Up is playable by one to four players in local co-op & it is a 3D platforming adventure designed for buddies & families. The game allows you to jump on each other, discover the world made of cardboard & utilize objects that you discover during your adventure to make the wackiest piles.

The game allows you to jump up, slide down, play with mates & carry the load.

It needs coordination with buddies or you can use your own creativeness to explore the game world which consists of enjoyable levels. Every level of the game is different from other. You need to crack puzzles, reveal the mystery, & complete missions as a squad & meet the friendly NPCs of different places of the game. You can challenge other mates in a number of action-packed rounds such as Pile of Dunk, Tic Pile Toe or rounds of Boxball.

Comparison: Similarities & differences between Kinetic Energy vs Pile Up:

Both Kinetic Edge & Pile Up features single player & multiplayer modes. They are both designed to play with friends & family. Both games include puzzles & are enjoyable in their own ways. However Kinetic Edge is about racing against clock & avoiding obstacles in your path. You can jump from one edge to another & falling off an object will let you respawn from last checkpoint. Kinetic Edge is pretty challenging. Pile Up on the other hand is more friendly in gameplay & the game does not feature races but it is adventurous. Pile Up has puzzles like Kinetic Edge but both games are quite different. Pile Up has lots of jumps & you can jump on your mate’s head to gain height, which can help you reach higher surfaces.

Comparison: Similarities & differences between Kinetic Edge vs BH Trials:

Gameplay of BH Trials is quite different from Kinetic Edge as both games include puzzles but KE is more focused on racing while BH Trials is about controlling a slow-moving digger using articulated arm. BH Trials does not include transmission, steering or brakes, & the only way to move forward & avoid obstacles is using mechanical arm of digger. Both KE & BH Trials features single & multiplayer modes. You can play them with family & friends using co-op multiplayer mode. KE is a racing game about avoiding obstacles while BH Trials lets you control slow-driving digger & avoid obstacles that come in your path. BH Trials is about beating clock like KE. You can unlock more levels in BH Trials if you finish the level quickly. Both games are quite challenging in their own ways.
