Can I Use Cross Play / Cross Platform Multiplayer, Cross Save or Cross Gen Play in Death Stranding?

Sam needs to save himself on a dangerous world that has been altered due to the effect known as Death Stranding. You must fight against creatures & those who want to rob your stuff. The creatures are invisible but your outfit is able to detect the nearby creature, & then you need to scan the region in order to find them.

 

What is Cross Play?

Cross Play allows gamers to play with those who are connected via internet from the same / different platforms. Users of different platforms such as mobile, PC, PlayStation, Xbox & Nintendo can get connected via Cross Play. Cross Play is also known as Cross Platform Multiplayer.

Is Cross Play available in Death Stranding?

Cross Play or Cross Platform Multiplayer is not supported by Death Stranding between PC & PlayStation. You can discover items & structures made by other players on the PC version such as players who bought the game from Steam Store are able to share content with those who purchased the game from Epic Store.

 

What is Cross Save?

An online save file carries players’ saved progress & inventory items. Players can reliably change their platform, & load the progress & inventory items from the online save. Cross Save is also known as Cross Progression.

 

Is Cross Save offered by Death Stranding?

Death Stranding does not offer Cross Save or Cross Progression. Hence, players can’t transfer their items & saved progress between PC & PlayStation.

 

What is Cross Gen Play?

Players can play the game with others who are connected from the old / new generations of the same console via Cross Gen Play.

If you have already finished Death Stranding on PS4, then you can quickly jump to the regions where you can find new content & equipment that comes with the PS5 version.
