Does Back 4 Blood Support Cross Play / Cross Platform Multiplayer, Cross Gen Play or Cross Save?
A first-person shooter set in a
planet overwhelmed with mutants. Though Back 4 Blood was first intended to
offer only co-op multiplayer, the game developers have also given priority to
VS Multiplayer.
An FPS which allows gamers to
discover themselves on a planet where undead are wandering in the open. Ridden
have killed almost all civilization but there are limited survivors who must
kill the creatures before it is too late. Back 4 Blood is from the makers of
Evolve & highly praised Left 4 Dead.

Sadly, Cross Gen Save is not yet confirmed in Back 4 Blood. This feature is not available in the beta version. So, it seems like you might not be able to transfer your data including save files to another generation.
