Is CrossfireX coming to PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC, & Mobile?

CrossfireX is an FPS & it is the console version of original Crossfire that launched on PC in 2007. Two opponent squads can play as two dangerous PVT army factions that battle in various modes to finish goals. CrossfireX takes place in the same universe as Crossfire, but the multiplayer & solo modes are separate.

You might be searching whether CrossfireX would hit platforms including Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, & Mobile in the future. However, CrossfireX is currently confirmed for Xbox One, & Xbox Series X/S. Therefore, there is no news about the release of CrossfireX on other platforms. It has been confirmed that Microsoft reserves the exclusive rights to launch CrossfireX only on Xbox One, & Xbox Series X/S. The original Crossfire was a big hit on PC, & now Microsoft has acquired the exclusive rights, so it seems like CrossfireX will never release on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, & Mobile. We cannot draw any conclusion at this point.

Xbox Game Studios is producing CrossfireX very similar to Halo Infinite, so it seems like CrossfireX will never make it to other platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, & Mobile. CrossfireX is the third game in the Crossfire series, & it is a fresh console version so it might not release on PC as well. X is added to the end of the original game name: “Crossfire” & ‘X’ stands for Xbox so we think that it would be a big surprise if CrossfireX launches on other consoles.

 

CrossfireX Modes:

Classic mode of the game lets attacking squad plant a bomb while the defending squad has to stop the attacking squad from completing their task. Every gamer uses standard weaponries. Spectre is different from classic mode, as the attacking team members are spectres, who have wielded knives only but they are invisible when they do not move. A Modern mode is also available, that allows both squads to battle for control over two objective points on the game map.

The solo mode of the game gives players a chance to complete multiple operations. Every operation consists of multiple episodes. At the beginning of the game, just two operations can be chosen.
