Chasing Static Gameplay:
Players will control Chris who
accidentally entered a thunderstorm while travelling at night, & he chooses
to stay at a small café. Then, he witnesses a murderer in the café, & he
gets unconscious & wakes up in an abandoned building. He enters a secret uninhibited
govt. facility where he discovers that strange experiments are the reason
behind the main time anomaly. Players need to collect the data regarding the
events that happen at this place & complete the mystery. They can use strange
equipment discovered in the facility for assistance.
All the in-game action can be
seen from FPP. It lets players discover the environment, crack puzzles &
find the data for solving the mystery. Players have the choice to discover the
environment at any speed so there is no time barrier.
Many ordinary puzzles are
available such as discovering objects & using them in a specific way. In
addition, players will find strange equipment that lets them hear the past
communication of the scientists when they were working in this research
laboratory.
Classic Static provides around 2
hours of playtime.
Chasing Static Release Date:
Chasing Static was released on PC
on 14 October 2021. It is confirmed to release on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One,
Xbox Series X/S, PS4 & PS5 in early 2022.
