Evoland is a role playing game RPG developed by Shiro Games. The game was initially released for PC Windows & OS X in 2013 & was released for android & iOS in 2015 & was released for Linux in 2015. Evoland is hugely inspired by The Legend of Zelda & Final Fantasy games. As the player progresses through the game, they unlock new technologies & get graphical upgrades during the course of the game. The game provides a snapshot of the revolution in the gaming world & the technological development. 

Evoland Legendary Edition provides the player with two RPGs, with their gameplay changing as player progress through the course of the game. A sequel, named Evoland 2: A Slight Case of Spacetime Continuum Disorder, was released in 2015. The two games were packaged together as Evoland: Legendary Edition & was released for consoles on 8th February 2019.




Evoland Legendary Edition Gameplay:

The game starts when the player begins the adventure. There are only two colors, big, simple pixels & a 2D character. As the player progresses through the game the player unlocks new graphics, new technologies & new gameplay until the player reaches the HD age & a three dimensional world.

The game alternates between A-RPG phases & Active Time Battles. The player goes through dungeons, caverns, forests & villages full of NPCs. Aside from the story mode, players can also discover hidden stars & cards that are hidden throughout the game.
