Last Captain Standing is a single-player action-strategy roguelike game. The update expands platform support including support for PlayStation VR along with more contents, enhanced procedural engine, enhanced art making airship destruction that is greatly enjoyable.

Last Captain Standing Story:

Player oversees a flying airship in a multi-stage competition.

Last Captain Standing Gameplay:

Player need to manage ragtag crew in order to keep vessel afloat. Player has to repel opponent attacks & collect resources & hunt for treasure. Player has to forge temporary alliances in order to fight against the bigger adversaries. Once the bigger opponents are defeated player can even turn on the allies as only one captain can be victorious or the allies can turn on you as friendships don’t last for too long.

The game features a mix of naval combat, airship management & diplomacy. Player can also hunt for treasure.  

Verdict:

The game is unlike any other game. The game’s combat feature is good but a bit tricky to get used to. The most fascinating thing about the game is the alliance system as it is something quite unique for me.
