Rise of Industry Story:
Player is an industrialist in the
early 20th-century. Player has to build & then manage player’s growing
empire.
Rise of Industry Gameplay:
Start with a sum of money & with
a map on which to build structures.
Game modes are Career & Sandbox
modes.
Career mode features four
specialisms that includes: gathering, farming, logistics & industry. The
chosen specialism grants more R&D points used to upgrade in the tech tree.
Sandbox mode has all unlocks &
the player can build without any limitations of research & finances.
The game is played on a map that
is broken up into regions, each region requires the player to buy a permit to
build in that region. Player after obtaining permit can start constructing buildings,
factories & farms. Trade routes transport goods from point A to point B. Player
can build trade routes for trucks, boats, trains & can use those routes to
transport raw materials to factories & transport finished goods required in
cities. Player can earn a lot of money through the trade. The goods more in
supply are cheap & the goods that are rare are expensive. Cities & town
may not only rely on player’s goods & may purchase goods from others as
well or may produce much needed goods themselves. So player has to develop a
better strategy to be successful in this dynamic world.
