Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Review:

The gameplay of FFVIII remastered is just the same as the original. It will let you discover new areas & face multiple enemies, which will let you gain experience & improve the skill of warriors to be able to face new threats. The combat system of the upcoming game combines turn-based battles with real-time combats. Characters can attack in a specific order but if you wait too long then rival will make their first move.

The core gameplay has not changed, however, it is changed when we compare it with FFVII. Guardian Forces have been modified & they are the summoned monsters used by assigning them to a hero. The spells, money & weapon system are re-built. You have a wider ability to customize your squad to face any type of challenge.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Story:

Final Fantasy VIII story is set in a new planet in which fantasy elements combine with futuristic technology. You will control Squall in this game who is a cadet & along with other students, they are sent on a special quest & it is their final examination before they become full member.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Gameplay:

Assigning a GF to any hero will let you use battle commands beyond attack with the primary weapon, for example magic, GF & item.

You will control Squall & you will be accompanied by team mates & your objective is to protect the planet from the witch. You will be helped by GF, giant creatures who offer you skills & attacks when you need them.

The game will let you control up to 3 heroes at one time & set their action at the start of their turn. This game will let you think in advance & use the heroes’ unique skills. All characters have a meter & when it fills up then it is their turn order, & this feature can be upgraded because FFVIII is a role playing game.

You can attach spells to stats like Spirit & Power. Use magic, & steal items, along with using GF to deal greater damage.

FFVIII is a remaster & it is not a remake. A remake usually means that the gameplay & graphics are tremendously changed & the game seems like a new title.

The graphics of FFVIII is improved so that you can play it on a 65" 1080p screen. The character, weapon, & rival are rebuilt to be fully 3 dimensional, instead of textured to look 3D like the base game. Characters & weapons have been improved a lot as you can see in the picture below.

The gameplay is the same but there are few changes which will let you enjoy it if you have already played the original. The gameplay is 3X faster than the base game. You can traverse the world quickly now.
