The game uses a crossover cast of characters from Super Mario & Sonic The Hedgehog games. You can choose a hero & participate in sports based on Olympic Games. Multiple events taken from Mario & Sonic games are making a return in this game such as soccer, gymnastics, boxing & swimming, & also there are new events such as skateboarding, karate, surfing & more.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 supports Joy-Con motion controllers on Nintendo Switch. A split screen multiplayer mode is available & you can enjoy online play.

In this game you will participate in events that are set in environments based on the venues of the Olympic Games.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 allows you to compete in the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 by choosing a character, & there are many events where you can compete against the other participants. There are over thirty action packed 3D & 2D sports games. You can participate in all Olympic sports.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is the 6^th installment in the Mario & Sonic games series. The game is based on Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Now characters will wear a proper outfit based on the participating sport event.

You can play ten mini games while completing story campaign.

Playable Characters:

The game includes thirty-two playable characters. Twenty playable characters can participate in all events but the remaining characters can be chosen as a guest in a single event. You can unlock guest characters when you defeat them in the story campaign. Guest character is not available in every event.

Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Bowser, Wario, Waluigi, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, & Bowser Jr.
