Oculus Link software is available in beta version & now you can connect Oculus to PC to play all PC VR & Rift games on Oculus Quest:

Oculus Link software is out now in beta form, which means you can play any game which is developed for PC VR, & the Rift headset, on the Oculus Quest. You need to connect Quest to PC via USB cable.

Oculus Link software works with most high quality USB 3 cables. Also your PC should meet minimum requirements that are mentioned below:


  • Processor—Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or greater
  • RAM—8GB+
  • OS—Windows 10
  • USB ports—1x USB 3.0

Oculus Link beta is only compatible with Nvidia graphics cards, including the Titan X, GeForce RTX 20 series, GTX 16 series, GTX 1060, GTX 1070, & GTX 1080.

After Oculus Link leaves its beta period they will support AMD cards too, & also Nvidia GPUs that are not mentioned above, will be supported after Oculus Link exits beta including Titan Z, GTX 1060M, & GTX 970. All 3 of the Nvidia GPUs are not compatible with the beta version.

Oculus is going to release its custom optical fiber cable but it is expensive. The cable right now is not available so you can use any high quality USB cable. We have provided specs of the Oculus USB cable below:
