Balsa Model Flight Sim is launching in summer 2020 & it allows you to design your own plane:
Balsa Model Flight Simulator is a new game from the developers of Kerbal Space Program, & it will allow you to design &
make your own planes & take them to the sky, where they will face
consequences.
Balsa is a soft & light wood & it is used to make
plane models because despite being soft, it has strength.
The game will let you construct your aircraft & fly it
to see how it performs in the air. You can make a variety of highly detailed models
or design your own using a built-in editor, & then apply paint to change
their appearance. Mod support will allow you to add custom content such as
individual component or full aircrafts, along with new maps.
You can use your aircrafts in multiple challenge modes such
as checkpoint flights & dogfighting, or a free-flight sandbox is available
that support solo & online play for up to 16 pilots at the same time. A
single player campaign mode offers challenges & rewards that allow you to
upgrade & improve your designs. You can fly aircrafts using a controller, or
from the cockpit of the plane.
