Castle in the Darkness 2 is in development:
Matt Kap & Simon Parzer have formed
an indie studio Labs Works & they have finished working on The Binding of
Isaac: Rebirth. Castle in the Darkness was released in 2015 & Labs Works is
now working on its sequel. The upcoming title is a similar high speed, action
role playing game which offers exploration but it will be much better than the
first game.
Matt Kap said that he is pushing
his limits. The original Castle in the Darkness was made with an 8-bit
aesthetic to keep it quick & simple because he was working on it mostly alone.
But now Simon will prepare the technical stuff, & there are also few more
talented experts working too so Kap is concentrating on his part only.
The studio will launch mini
trailers on the second day of every month which will present a specific feature
of Castle of the Darkness 2 or its development.
