Survival horror games to release on Stadia

Outlast II might land on Stadia:

Outlast II is a first person survival horror video game developed & published by Red Barrels. Outlast 2 was released on PC Windows, PS4 and Xbox One on 25 April, 2017. Outlast 2 was released on Nintendo Switch on 27 March, 2018. We think Outlast II is one of the most favorite survival horror game that might hit Stadia too.

Outlast 2 is set in the same world as the first game, but it includes different characters & a different setting.

Outlast II is built in Unreal Engine 3 like the first two parts. The game includes some animations, scripts & other layouts from previous two games.

Run & crouch behind objects to avoid being detected along with hiding within various locations. You can slide while running. Heal yourself with the med kits or restore health by bandaging your wounds. But, you cannot do it when you are surrounded by foes as it takes few seconds. Like previous games, once again you are using camera, it is slightly upgraded as it has a different HUD & overall appearance. Use the night vision to help Blake navigate through darkness. The opponent AI is being remade from scratch & their patterns is different from Outlast.

Outlast 2 Story:

Outlast II story is based on Blake & his wife Lynn as they investigate the death of a lady known as Jane Doe. They are roaming the Arizona desert to find clues about her death. Jake & his wife gets separated in a helicopter crash, & Jack is searching for Lynn while travelling through a rural area inhabited by a faction who believes that they are going to die soon.

Outlast 2 Gameplay:

Outlast II offers a single player campaign like Outlast & Outlast: Whistleblower. Play the game as an investigative journalist Blake who is on his mission to find clues about the death of a woman. He travels to a village near the western edge of the Colorado plateau.

Blake cannot fight in this game except he can unleash attack in scripted scenes but he only can run & hide. He wears glasses which affects his vision if it falls off. Blake can hide in barrels, lockers, wardrobes, pools of water, beds & inside homes. He can run, crouch, walk, jump, slide, vault & climb like the first game. His stamina is limited so he must manage how farther he runs or he gets tired & starts moving slowly.

Blake has only a camcorder which can help him at night but when he operates camera, it consumes batteries. He has a professional camcorder. The footage of the camcorder is clear; he can zoom in & out & there is a mic which detects distant footsteps & other voices. Blake has an inventory to store items in addition to the amount of footage recorded on the camcorder. Extra batteries can be installed in the camera. Medicine required for healing are spread throughout the game surroundings.

Resident Evil Zero HD Story:

Resident Evil Zero is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. The game is like other entries in the Resident Evil series, but includes another AI partner. Player takes control of ex-soldier Billy Coen, S.T.A.R.S officer and medic Rebecca Chambers. Player can switch between characters in order to crack puzzles and take benefit of their exclusive skills.

Resident Evil Zero HD Gameplay:

Resident Evil Zero is a 3rd person horror video game. The game features AI partner. Instead of choosing one of two characters at the start, there are 2 characters to be controlled all the way through the complete game. If they journey together, either single of them can be controlled while the other player is controlled by the computer’s AI. The player may also control both at the same time or split them to discover regions separately. Each player has different skills. Rebecca has a kit which lets her to keep herbs and extra elements, but she is weak defensively. While, Billy can move weighty stuff and has advanced guard.

Resident Evil Zero has no item boxes, so player has to put stuff on the ground. The sites of dropped objects are shown on the map.

Google Stadia is adding new games to its library & we are hopeful that they might consider adding Outlast II & Resident Evil HD Zero. These are my all time favorite survival horror games.
