Math Puzzles with Solutions: Solve Logical Math Riddles:
Question:
It is a simple math puzzle that needs
a little logic to solve. Three numbers in first equation are separated by a
comma & they are equal to 10. So we need to find a logic that verifies the
fact: how these numbers are equal to 10. The logic is to multiply first 2
numbers & add the third number.
Let’s solve first equation
3, 2, 4 = 10
3 x 2 + 4 = 10
6 + 4 = 10
10 = 10
L.H.S. = R.H.S.
Hence first equation satisfies
our logic. Now we are using this logic in the second equation & checking
its validity:
4, 3, 5 = 17
4 x 3 + 5 = 17
12 + 5 = 17
17 = 17
L.H.S. = R.H.S.
Second equation also gives
correct result. Hence I think this logic is correct but as we have more
equations so let’s try this logic in those too.
5, 4, 6 = 26
5 x 4 + 6 = 26
20 + 6 = 26
26 = 26
L.H.S. = R.H.S.
We can clearly say, this logic
works. Final check:
6, 5, 7 = 37
6 x 5 + 7 = 37
30 + 7 = 37
37 = 37
L.H.S. = R.H.S.
Now we have an unknown. Let’s
find it out by applying the same logic:
7, 6, 8 = ?
7 x 6 + 8 = ?
42 + 8 = ?
50 = ?
Hence unknown number (?) is equal
to 50.
Answer = 50
My answer is right
