Dishonored is a single player action-adventure, stealth video game in the series Dishonored that is developed by Arkane Studios & published by Bethesda Softworks on October 9, 2012 for platforms including Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 & Xbox One.

Deathloop vs Dishonored Setting:

In Deathloop, players take control of Colt, who is an assassin stuck in a time loop, waking up on a beach at the island of Blackreef. Colt’s task is to take out eight targets across the island before midnight, & if a player leaves even one target alive, cause the time loop to reset & undo his whole work. Thus, the player has to start from the beginning.   

Dishonored is set in the fictional, plague-ridden industrial city of Dunwall. Player takes control of Corvo Attano, who is a bodyguard to the Empress of the Isles. He gets framed for her murder & is forced to become an assassin, thus seeking revenge on those who conspired against him for the murder. 

 

Deathloop vs Dishonored Visuals:

The graphics & animations quality of Deathloop is much more refined as the game releases on PS5 while the visuals of Dishonored is somewhat rough as the game released in 2012 on older consoles.

Deathloop vs Dishonored Gameplay:

In Deathloop, the player can use a combination of stealth, parkour, & attack skills like in Arkane's previous Dishonored & Prey video games. Either players can avoid or take out guards. Most important is to learn about the patterns of Colt's targets in order to figure out the right order to eliminate targets using guns, melee attacks, or through any other environmental means. The game also includes a multiplayer optional mode in which the player becomes Julianna, who is an agent with the task to protect the time loop & take out Colt.

Dishonored is a single player video game playable from a first-person perspective. Players take on a series of missions in different ways. They can use stealth, combat, or a combination of both. Discovering each level opens new paths & alternatives for completing mission objectives.
